The Immediate Risks Humanity Faces Across the Globe.

Lung Disease

Air pollution from industrial activity, transport & energy generation & in the future from geoengineering particulates falling out of the atmosphere.

Heat

Increasing global temperatures caused by CO2 & other GHG (Green House Gas) emissions from Fossil Fuel (FF) consumption & burning. As well as methane (CH4) also known as Natural Gas (NG) emissions from FF extraction, processing & leaks as well as novell emissions from wetlands as the global temperature rises.

2023 has seen a spike in global temperature, August 2023 being the hottestsince records began globally.

Sea Level Rise

Caused by rising temperatures and loss of terrestrial ice: Greenland, Antarctica & mountain glaciers.

Under immediate threat are oastal cities & industrial installation.

Severe Storms

Severe & ferocious repeated storms, oversized hail stones, pluvials & heavy snow storms.

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2007/sep/08/climatechange

Pluvials are rain storms that bring about rapid flooding and, in some cases, erosive floodwaters sweeping away all in its path: topsoil, causing landslides, crop loss & loss of soil carbon.

Tsunamis

Tsunamis caused by Ice sheet sliding into the ocean in Antarctica & Greenland.

Wildfires

Prolonged heat events turn our countryside to tinder. The Northern Boreal Forests are burning- this is Earth’s largest Carbon store.

Combined & Compounded Events

Combines Geological, tidal, storm, rain & political events will exacerbate human ability to respond, this may lead to communities being abandoned to cope, as we have seen with Katrina, the American Dream for those people with no Insurance is a nightmare.

Ignorance is a Dumb Way To Die

We applaud your callous response.

A comment left on this blog was this below. Callous is to weak a description.

The heat over the next few years will kill more people than over a billion people. It will likely kill your elderly parents, children, friends, and neighbours. It will be unexpected and unpredicted because when it gets hot, it’s not just in the cities, there are heat reaps in the wilderness, too.

We don’t use rocket boys shop.

Good luck, your gonna need it.

We don’t give a f☆ck either.

We just chronicle the collapse of civilisation and make comments about how well it’s going & try and calculate the next risk. As you see, we do read our comments. Your opinion has been duly noted and assessed as irrelevant.

Thank you
